Inside Hanger 41
Our hangar is the heart of RAA-Toronto — a spacious, fully equipped facility where members can build and maintain their aircraft. It also serves as a gathering place for hands-on workshops, social events, and sharing the passion for recreational aviation.
From BBQ’s to General Meetings
Our hangar is the heart of RAA-Toronto — a spacious, fully equipped facility that brings together the tools, space, and camaraderie essential to recreational aviation. Members have access to an extensive array of tools including a milling machine, lathe, sheet metal shears, metal band saws, sanding equipment, an English wheel, and more — everything needed for aircraft building, restoration, and maintenance. But beyond the equipment, the hangar is where the spirit of our community comes to life. It serves as a welcoming hub for hands-on workshops, collaborative projects, and a wide variety of social gatherings.
Throughout the year, members come together in the hangar for events like BBQs, our popular Chili Days, the annual Fall Feast, and monthly general meetings. These events are more than just meals — they’re opportunities to share knowledge, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy the lighter side of aviation. The hangar stands as a tribute to the passion, craftsmanship, and shared experiences that define RAA-Toronto.
